A typical surgery was performed on a two-month-old male baby at Rotary Ambala Cancer and General Hospital due to swelling in the kidney. The surgery was carried out by Dr. Ravitej Singh Bal, an experienced pediatric surgeon. Dr. Vaneet Anand, a pediatrician, referred the case to Dr. Bal after a thorough examination. The surgeon diagnosed the condition as left pelvic-ureteric junction obstruction based on a DTPA renal scan, which indicated 40 percent function of the left kidney with complete blockage. On September 26, 2023, Anderson Hynes’s pyeloplasty was performed, and the patient was discharged after three days in satisfactory condition. The boy’s father mentioned that they were made aware of the problem by their gynecologist during pregnancy. As a result, they approached the hospital for an ultrasound when the boy reached two months old. The severity of the problem prompted Dr. Bal to decide on the operation. Rotary Ambala Cancer and General Hospital marked the first instance of such a critical surgery being conducted on a two-month-old child at Ambala Cantt.
रोटरी अंबाला कैंसर एवं जनरल हॉस्पिटल में दो माह के एक बच्चे की किडनी में सूजन के कारण एक विशिष्ट सर्जरी की गई। यह सर्जरी अनुभवी बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. रवितेज सिंह बाल द्वारा की गई। बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. वनीत आनंद ने गहन जांच के बाद मामले को डॉ. बाल के पास भेजा। सर्जन ने डीटीपीए रीनल स्कैन के आधार पर स्थिति का निदान बाएं पेल्विक-मूत्रवाहिनी जंक्शन रुकावट के रूप में किया, जिसमें बाईं किडनी के 40 प्रतिशत कार्य का संकेत मिला। 26 सितंबर, 2023 को एंडरसन हाइन्स की पाइलोप्लास्टी की गई और मरीज को संतोषजनक स्थिति में तीन दिनों के बाद छुट्टी दे दी गई। लड़के के पिता ने बताया कि गर्भावस्था के दौरान उनके स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ ने उन्हें इस समस्या के बारे में अवगत कराया था। लड़का दो महीने का हो गया तो उन्होंने अल्ट्रासाउंड के लिए अस्पताल से संपर्क किया। समस्या की गंभीरता के कारण डॉ. बाल ने ऑपरेशन का निर्णय किया।ऑपरेशन सफल रहा, और बच्चा बिल्कुल ठीक है। रोटरी अंबाला कैंसर और जनरल अस्पताल ने अंबाला कैंट में दो महीने के बच्चे पर इस तरह की गंभीर सर्जरी करने का यह पहला केस है।
