The Critical Care Department at Dr. Jai Dev Memorial Rotary Ambala Hospital (DJMRH) successfully treated a young male patient suffering from a snake bite and post-cardiac arrest. Referred from a local hospital, the patient required the swift coordination of multiple departments. Pharmacy Manager Mr. Rajinder Gupta, Pharmacy Purchaser Mrs. Suman Aggarwal, and the pharmacy team quickly secured the snake venom antiserum, while the Emergency and ICU teams stabilized the patient. Under the care of Dr. Resham Singh (General Physician), Dr. Anubhav Sharma (Critical, Palliative, and Pain Management Specialist), and Dr. Rahul Suri (Critical Care Specialist), the patient, who was on a ventilator for a week due to neuromuscular paralysis, has now been discharged in stable condition.
